Since Corvita Group’s founding in January of 2019, the transportation industry has seen significant growth, with AI, APIs, and Last Mile deliveries becoming common terminology. As we celebrate our 5-year anniversary, we’re proud to reflect on the tremendous growth we’ve experienced as well. We’ve expanded our team, built new partnerships, evaluated countless software products, and guided customers through complex TMS and WMS implementations. At the same time, we’ve lent our business and technical expertise to software providers entering the industry, helping them make their mark.

None of this would have been possible without our talented employees. Our team doesn’t just understand the technical side of the business; we’ve lived the operational side too. We’ve been in the trenches – searching for capacity, handling midnight breakdowns, locating lost shipments in the warehouse, and rushing JIT products to the shipping dock. We’ve been there, and we’ve done that, and it’s this hands-on experience that sets Corvita apart.

While our staff and logo have evolved over the last five and a half years, our core philosophy hasn’t. We’ve always believed in a bottom-up approach, tackling every challenge with empathy and a deep understanding of the end user’s needs. By involving users in the process, we’ve found that adoption rates soar because they have “skin in the game.” We listen. We understand. We solve.

Looking ahead to the next five years, you’ll see Corvita continuing to grow, forging new partnerships, and working with more customers to help them navigate their software needs. Our expertise in the supply chain space will evolve with the times, but our philosophy remains the same. We’ll continue to approach every challenge from the ground up.

Corvita Group announced today that it has appointed Jeffrey Godwin as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors, effective September 16, 2019.  Company founder, Kevin Holmes will transition from CEO to the role of Chief Commercial Officer, while remaining the company's Chairman and President of the Board of Directors.


"During this time of transformation, I believe there is no better person to lead Corvita Group than Jeff Godwin," said Kevin Holmes.  "Jeff is a proven leader with exceptional engineering skills, business vision and the ability to bring people together.  His vision for how technology will be used and experienced throughout global supply chains is exactly what Corvita Group needs as we enter our next chapter of innovation and growth.  This strategic move allows me to fully focus on the customer experience and continue to develop strong partnerships throughout the industry, while Jeff leverages his years of experience guiding the business forward."

Godwin brings with him more than 20 years of executive experience in supply chain management, distribution, warehousing, and transportation.  Jeff earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Industrial & Systems Engineering from North Carolina State University, and has served as EVP of Client Services for MercuryGate International and Chief Technology Officer at Tompkins International.  It is with great pleasure that we welcome Mr. Godwin as the new CEO of our organization.
