Corvita Group announced today that it has appointed Jeffrey Godwin as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors, effective September 16, 2019.  Company founder, Kevin Holmes will transition from CEO to the role of Chief Commercial Officer, while remaining the company's Chairman and President of the Board of Directors.


"During this time of transformation, I believe there is no better person to lead Corvita Group than Jeff Godwin," said Kevin Holmes.  "Jeff is a proven leader with exceptional engineering skills, business vision and the ability to bring people together.  His vision for how technology will be used and experienced throughout global supply chains is exactly what Corvita Group needs as we enter our next chapter of innovation and growth.  This strategic move allows me to fully focus on the customer experience and continue to develop strong partnerships throughout the industry, while Jeff leverages his years of experience guiding the business forward."

Godwin brings with him more than 20 years of executive experience in supply chain management, distribution, warehousing, and transportation.  Jeff earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Industrial & Systems Engineering from North Carolina State University, and has served as EVP of Client Services for MercuryGate International and Chief Technology Officer at Tompkins International.  It is with great pleasure that we welcome Mr. Godwin as the new CEO of our organization.
